We encourage motivated, curious high school students to explore Temple’s pre-college programs—we offer diverse options with faculty across our schools and colleges.
Why enroll in a pre-college program at Temple?
You have the option to participate in pre-college opportunities in a variety of study areas after school, on weekends and during the summer. Some programs allow you to earn college credit, while others allow you to explore your interests through short-term, noncredit workshops. All Temple pre-college programs help you to
- discover new passions,
- get a head start on your college experience,
- learn more about the admissions process and what to expect in college, and
- meet other high school students in all walks of life.
Cost of Pre-college Programs
Costs for pre-college programs vary by program. Scholarships may be available, especially for students who have financial need. High school students can also enroll in select undergraduate courses at a reduced tuition rate of $325 per credit. This option places you in a fall, spring or summer course alongside current Temple University undergraduate students.
