How to Apply for Direct Admission
Step 1: Apply online.
The best way to apply is by using Temple’s online application. If you prefer, you may download a paper application (PDF) to submit by mail instead. You can also submit the Common Application.
Step 2: Submit I-20 application and visa documents online.
Once you have applied for admission, you will receive a TUportal account username and password. If you require a student visa, please log in to TUportal and submit the following documents online. If you prefer to submit your I-20 documents by mail, use our paper I-20 application. Your I-20 will be processed and mailed to you once you have submitted your tuition deposit.

Step 3: Mail academic documents to Temple Admissions.
The following documents are necessary to complete your application.
Once you submit your documents, they become the property of Temple University and we cannot return them to you. If you prefer, you can retain your originals and submit notarized copies.
Provide documents in your native language as well as a version translated into English.

Step 4: Check the status of your application.
Check your application status by logging in to your TUportal account.
