Summer pre-college students who are enrolled in courses or workshops taking place on campus have the option to live on campus in a residence hall. Living on campus is often one of the most exciting parts of your pre-college experience.
Residential students will
- live with a roommate in a campus residence hall,
- eat their meals in campus dining facilities,
- explore Temple's campus, and
- experience the city of Philadelphia through fun field trips.
2022 Housing Fees
$1,600 for two weeks (Sunday arrival and Friday departure)
$2,700 for four weeks
$4,400 for six weeks
The housing fee includes space in a campus residence hall (most rooms are double occupancy), priority access to evening and weekend activities and field trips, transportation to evening and weekend activities, and 24/7 supervision.
2022 Meal Fees
Students who live on campus will be required to pay a Meal Fee, which will cover breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks. Meal Fees are paid through Temple's campus-based debit card system called Diamond Dollars. Diamond Dollars can be spent at many locations on campus, including dining halls, most local restaurants and shops, and even some food trucks. Parents and families can add additional funds to a student's account at any time. Non-residential students are also welcome to use the Diamond Dollars system to cover their lunches and snacks while on campus, but are not required to pay the minimum meal fee.
$300 required minimum for two weeks
$600 required minimum for four weeks
$900 required minimum for six weeks
Enrolling in Housing
You must enroll in housing separately from your desired pre-college program. You can hold your space in on-campus housing with at least a $160 deposit. You must be paid in full for campus housing at least 10 days prior to your move-in date.
If you need accommodations in housing for any reason, email firstname.lastname@example.org to discuss the situation.
