Pre-college Workshops

Program Fee, Full-Day: $1,000 per two-week session
Program Fee, Half-Day: $550 per two-week session

The full-day fee includes two non-credit workshops, ongoing mentorship and support from Temple pre-college mentors (PCMs), college knowledge seminars, and access to the full calendar of evening and weekend social activities. Students may attend more than one session. The half-day fee includes one non-credit workshop, and the remaining services included in the full-day fee.

Securing Your Spot in the Program

When you receive your acceptance, you will be asked to pay a 10% deposit to secure your spot in the program. Once your deposit is submitted, your space is held in the program.

Summer Intensives and Institutes

Program Fee, Full-Day: $1,100 per two-week session

The full-day fee includes one (1) non-credit workshop offered over a two-week period, ongoing mentorship and support from Temple pre-college mentors (PCMs), college knowledge seminars, and access to the full calendar of evening and weekend social activities. Students may attend more than one session.

When you receive your acceptance, you will be asked to pay a 10% deposit to secure your spot in the program. Once your deposit is submitted, your space is held in the program.

Program Fee: $2,400*

This fee includes three (3) college credits, two (2) non-credit workshops, ongoing mentorship and support from Temple undergraduates, college knowledge seminars, and access to the full calendar of evening and weekend social activities.

* There is an additional credit fee of $325 if a four-credit course is selected as the college course component of the program.

Summer Scholars

Program Fee: $3,600*

This fee includes six (6) college credits, individualized and small-group coaching and study sessions, college knowledge seminars, ongoing mentorship and support from Temple undergraduates, and access to the full calendar of evening and weekend social activities.

* There is an additional credit fee of $325 per credit for each college credit beyond the first six. For example, if you select one three-credit course and one four-credit course for this program, you will be billed an additional $325 to cover the seventh credit.

Pre-College Study Abroad: Rome

Program Fee, Full-Day: $3,000 per student, plus flights

The fee includes a one-week survey course of various topics offered at Temple University Rome Campus, housing, meals, sightseeing and field trips, 24/7 supervision, and support from Temple faculty and staff.

Securing Your Spot in the Program

When you receive your acceptance, you will be asked to pay a 10% deposit to secure your spot in the program. Once your deposit is submitted, your space is held in the program.

Housing Fee (optional):

$1,800 for two weeks
$2,800 for four weeks
$4,500 for six weeks

This fee includes space in a campus residence hall, 24/7 on-campus supervision and guidance, priority access to evening and weekend field trips and activities, and access to basic on-campus health services. Meals are not included in the campus housing fee.

Students who choose to live on campus will move in the Sunday afternoon prior to their first day of class (e.g. June 25 for programs that start on June 26) and will move out on the last day of their classes (typically Friday).

Securing Your Spot in the Residence Hall

You can choose to enroll in campus housing either at the time you apply, or at the time you confirm your attendance. To hold your space in the residence hall, you will be provided with a link to pay a 10% deposit. Your space is held in the residence hall when you pay your deposit.

Meal Fee (required for residential students, optional for non-residential students):

$350 minimum for two weeks
$700 minimum for four weeks
$1,050 minimum for six weeks

Your meal fee will be a combination of all-you-care-to-eat meals in our campus dining hall and pay-as-you-go funds (“Diamond Dollars”) that can be used at multiple campus locations.

The dining hall offers multiple stations for meals and you can choose what you would like to eat after swiping into the dining hall. The dining hall offers a variety of cuisines and can accommodate various dietary restrictions and allergies.

Diamond Dollars offer students additional flexibility. As Temple’s campus-based debit system, Diamond Dollars reduce the need for students to carry cash. Diamond Dollars can be spent at many locations on campus, including dining halls, most local restaurants and shops, and even some food trucks. Additional Diamond Dollars can be added online throughout the program if needed.

When you enroll in campus housing, you will be provided with a link to pay your meal fee. Meal fees must be paid prior to move-in. Non-residential students are also welcome to use the Diamond Dollars system to cover their lunches and snacks while on campus, but are not required to pay the minimum meal fee.

Fees for the programs listed above to not include

devices and supplies to engage in an online program, including but not limited to computers, tablets, high-speed internet access or hotspots, headsets, webcams, etc., or
books and supplies* for selected courses and workshops.

* While some courses and workshops have books and supplies included, others may require some additional fees. Anyone enrolled in a course or workshop that has required books or supplies that are not included in the program fee will be notified at the time of course confirmation. Our faculty is committed to keeping book and supply costs low.
