All students must make a 10% deposit by May 1 and pay their remaining balance in full by June 19. You can make payments online via credit card by logging into the account you used to apply for your program and clicking “My Invoices.”
We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. We also accept checks made payable to Temple University and mailed to the Pre-College address below. We are unable to accept cash. You can pay in as many installments in whatever amounts work for you and your family, as long as you meet the payment deadline.
If you are earning college credit (Summer Academy/4 weeks or Summer Scholars/6 weeks), you will also have a bill in the credit system, which is called TUpay. This bill will not generate until May 22 or until you register for your college courses, whichever comes second. Please review the information in the “College Credit” form on your account for instructions on how to pay this bill.
When you make your deposit to a pre-college program, several important forms will be automatically added to your account for you to complete. To access these forms, login to the account you used to apply for your program and click “My Applications.”
All students must complete the following forms:
Depending on your program, you may also need to complete one or both of the following forms:
Signing up for a virtual New Pre-college Student Onboarding is STRONGLY encouraged. These approximately 1-hour virtual sessions will be offered multiple times in May and June. Both parents/guardians are welcome. We will walk you through what to expect as a Temple Pre-college student, and the next steps listed above. You'll meet the staff and have a chance to ask any questions you have before we get started! Dates will be announced by May 1.
All students should come prepared with basic school supplies, like a notebook and something to write with. Most courses and workshops include supplies. However, some courses or workshops require additional supplies. As faculty make supply lists available, we will update this page with links below. All supply lists will be published no later than June 19.
Are you a parent or guardian who is helping your student prepare for pre-college? We will share additional information for you on the parent and guardian page. This page will be updated by May 1 and will include:
