Kristen Marie Gillis, BYR ’23, has graced stages across the country, performing professionally with operas in Charlottesville, Virginia; Orlando, Florida; and in the Great Lakes region.

Japan, South Korea, Europe, Kenya, New Orleans, New York City. All destinations that Chris Lewis, BYR ’18, has played in just the past year while living a jazz musician’s dream as a saxophonist with the prestigious Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra, led by renowned trumpeter and composer Wynton Marsalis. 

 Animating science: Nick Santangelo

Nick Santangelo, TFM ’19, is the main animator for the College of Science and Technology’s FunScienceToons series, Nick makes engaging cartoons explaining important and necessary concepts for students in elementary and middle school science.
