Hi everyone! My name is Anna Galkin and I’m a CLA Neuroscience major with a Spanish minor on the Pre-Med track. I am from Yardley, PA, so I have loved exploring Philadelphia, the city I now get to call home, this past year! Apart from being an HPM, I am the Secretary of Temple’s Ukrainian Society TUUS, work in the CST advising office as a peer advisor, involved in PhiDE, our pre-med fraternity, and part of a few neuroscience clubs. In my free time, I enjoy staying active: I love the gym and working out, running, and going to Temple’s group fitness classes (cycling is my favorite)! I also love visiting vegetarian-friendly restaurants, experiencing different cultures through traveling, and, since I am a HUGE music lover, listening to music. Over the summer, I work as a lifeguard/counselor at an overnight camp and as a cashier. I also volunteer as much as I can at Philly's health centers.
