Hi! My name is Breara, and I am from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. I am majoring in Political Science, while double minoring in Economics and Legal Studies. I plan on attending law school after my time here at Temple. I am also a member of the Phi Alpha Delta Pre-Law Fraternity Mock Trial Team. In my free time, I love shopping, cooking, watching movies, and listening to music. My favorite music genre is R&B, and my favorite artists include SZA, Brent Faiyaz, Lizzy McAlpine, beabadoobee, and Kendrick Lamar, who is arguably the best rapper in the world. I don’t often have time to watch different shows on TV, so when I do, I become absolutely hyperfixated on whatever I’m watching. I love the Hunger Games series and think it’s one of the best book-to-movie series ever made. You’re free to reach out, and we can have a friendly debate on why I think so, or to recommend things for me to watch! I enjoy walking around the Schuylkill River Trail to clear my mind and see the beautiful views this city has to offer. I love eating Mexican food and regularly explore different restaurants near campus to eat. Over the summers, I work as a Camp Counselor and love working with children! I am very interested and dedicated to community development. So I love volunteering back home in Pittsburgh and here in Philly. As a first-generation student, I have gained a lot of insight for navigating college and can’t wait to share it with other new students! I’m so excited to meet and learn more about all of you!
