Hi everyone! My name is Deepa Subramanya, and I’m a third-year student majoring in Cellular and Molecular Neuroscience with dual minors in Philosophy and Health Policy & Management. On campus, I’m involved in Phi Delta Epsilon, Temple Consulting Club, Delta Zeta, FIMRC and Grey Matters, and I’m proud to have started Temple University HOSA! Outside of academics, I love reading (anything from fantasy to self-development), exploring Philly’s food scene (Thai and Mexican are my favorites), and diving into creative hobbies like photography/filming, video editing, and graphic design. I absolutely love Marvel movies & my favorite shows include Grey’s Anatomy, Suits, Friends, and Arrow, but I’m always adding new ones to my list! As an honors student since my freshman year, I’ve loved the strong sense of community the Honors Program provides. I’m a huge people-person, so I really value how it helps you find an immediate support system on campus. The program offers amazing resources to help Temple feel like home and guide you toward growth, authenticity, and stability. I’m thrilled to now give back by serving as an Honors Peer Mentor!
