Hi there! My name is Eleena and I am a sophomore biology major here at Temple University. I was born and raised in Philly, so Temple has always been close to my heart. Getting accepted into the Honors Program was the best decision I made and it has been such an incredible journey so far. What I love most about the Honors Program is how much it elevates your college experience. The smaller class sizes, deeper learning, and unique courses have sparked an even greater appreciation within me for dentistry. Plus, Temple’s endless opportunities and support systems are unmatched. I have been able to get involved in research, join amazing student organizations like the Honors Peer Mentor, Honors Forum and Alpha Epsilon Delta Pre-Health Honor Society. When I am not busy with classes and campus activities, you will probably find me hanging out with my family and friends, playing or watching philly sports, or performing Bharatanatyam, a classical Indian dance. Oh, and did I mention I am a proud die hard Eagles fan? E-A-G-L-E-S…. EAGLES! This city is absolutely the best and Temple makes it even better. If you are a prospective or incoming student wondering about Temple, the Honors Program, or pre-health opportunities, feel free to reach out. I would be so happy to share more about my experience and help you on your journey. Go Owls! 🦉
