Hi everyone! My name is Eva Close (she/they), and I am a junior Biology Major and Art Minor from South Philly! Here at Temple, I volunteer at a deep-sea marine biology lab, where I work on a coral restoration and modeling project with a grad student. I am also a captain for the PLA (peer lab assistant) program for introductory biology labs at Temple. I absolutely love anything vintage. I have a huge record collection (my favorite band is the Doors), and I love classic horror movies like The Thing or The Shining. For my art minor I have taken classes ranging from glassblowing to jewelry making, so I am always willing to talk about any medium! I love Marine Science and I plan to pursue a PhD in Coastal Ecology.
