Hi! My name is Hema and I’m a third-year Architecture student on the 4+1 track with a minor in City & Regional Planning. I’m from Aldie, Virginia, and I made the decision to come to Temple because I was drawn to the city life, the vast opportunities it holds, as well as the close community of the Honors program. Along with being an Honors Ambassador I am also Vice-President of the Temple K-pop Club and a member of its dance team, the Cherry Bombs, and I am also an Event Coordinator for the Asian Student Association. Along with these student organizations I also work part-time for the Digital Fabrication Lab in the Architecture building of Tyler where I get to work alongside laser cutters and 3D printers! This past summer, I had the opportunity to be an architecture intern for Stantec Consulting where I got to work with interns across the country to develop a design proposal for a K-12 CTE center. My other hobbies involve exploring the city, reading, cooking, and catching up on anime. If you have any questions about architecture, my experiences, or would simply like to chat, please don’t hesitate to reach out!
