Neena is originally from the suburbs of Chicago and moved to Philadelphia at the beginning of 2025. She earned her B.A. in Sociology at Oberlin College and minored in Writing & Communication and Gender, Sexuality, & Feminist Studies. During college, Neena worked as a Writing Tutor and Peer Advising Leader and was involved with identity-based extracurricular activities, developing a passion for pedagogy and student programming.
After graduating, she moved to Philly to be a Coordinator of Student Affairs at Drexel University College of Medicine, working closely with student extracurricular and college event programming. Drawing from her background in tutoring and student programming, Neena aims to help Honors students enjoy their college experience both in and outside of the classroom. Having come from a small liberal arts school, she is passionate about encouraging students to explore all their varied academic interests and interdisciplinary learning.
In her free time, Neena enjoys drinking tea, cross-stitching, reading in the park, baking, and exploring the Philly cafe and food scene. She enjoys listening to female rap, R&B, and pop music.
