Hi! My name is Rithika Jayaprakash, and I'm a senior majoring in Neuroscience (CLA) with a minor in Public Health on the pre-med track. I'm originally from the suburbs of Bridgewater, New Jersey, but I always wanted to experience living near a city. I was drawn to Philadelphia, and since coming to Temple University, I've truly loved it here. There is a wide range of opportunities for students to grow, and some that I have particularly enjoyed include researching oligodendrocyte precursor cells at LKSOM and volunteering with patients at CHOP. On campus, I am involved with several organizations that I am proud of, including Phi Delta Epsilon, AMSA, and Temple Agni. When I am not doing schoolwork and extracurricular activities, I enjoy working out, traveling, shopping, and spending time with my family and friends.
