Hi everyone! My name is Shriya, and I am a Neuroscience: Cellular and Molecular major with a minor in Clinical and Health Psychology on the pre-medical track. Outside of academics, I absolutely love to cook and bake, experiment with doing nails, and discover new coffee spots. Professionally, I’m currently working in a research lab at Lewis Katz and volunteering at Temple Hospital. I’m also involved in several clubs, including Phi Delta Epsilon (our pre-medical fraternity), Grey Matters (an undergraduate neuroscience journal), and the American Medical Student Association. On campus, you’ll often find me taking walks or enjoying the view from Mazur’s rooftop. As a mentor, I aim to be both a helpful guide and a friend. I remember how important it was to have someone to turn to during my freshman year, so I’m here to offer support and encouragement. Whether you need academic advice, career guidance, or just someone to chat with, I’ll do my best to be there for you. We can keep it casual with occasional check-ins or have a closer relationship with regular communication—whatever works best for you! If you have any questions about adjusting to Temple, being pre-med, or just want to talk, I’d love to connect. Welcome to Temple! I can’t wait to meet you all!
