Hi everyone! My name is Sophia Llaguno (she/her), but most people know me as Pia. I am currently a sophomore Speech, Language, & Hearing Sciences major in the College of Public Health (CPH), and I am pursuing an American Sign Language undergraduate certification. I am passionate about volunteer work and am involved in several student organizations that reflect that. I am the Secretary of Public Health Beyond Borders (PHBB), the Co-Director of Communications of Honors Community Outreach (HCO), an Honors Ambassador, and a representative of CPH for the Honors Student Forum. I am also a member of clubs related to my major, including the National Student Speech Language Hearing Association (NSSLHA), Sisters in Speech Therapy & Audiology (SISTAs), and Talking Hands (Temple’s ASL club). In my free time, I enjoy playing volleyball, practicing piano, baking, reading, and making DIY crafts. My preferred genres are romance and poetry, and my favorite R&B and rap artists are Daniel Caesar, Jhené Aiko, Summer Walker, Lil Durk, and Lil Tjay. Please do not hesitate to reach out if you have any questions. I am looking forward to an amazing semester with you!
