Hi there! My name is Srujana, and I am a Sophomore majoring in Bioengineering, concentrating in Engineering Devices. I’m originally from Downingtown, PA, but I love all the fun events Philly has to offer! On campus, I’m involved in the Temple Prosthetics and Orthotics Club, where I’m currently working on designing a prosthetic hind leg for a shelter dog! I’m also a member of the Biomedical Engineering Society and the Society of Women Engineers, which have allowed me to connect with like-minded peers and explore opportunities in the field. To stay connected to my culture and step outside my comfort zone, I joined Temple Agni, the Indian fusion dance team, which has helped me with time management, endurance, and self-expression. In my free time, I enjoy experimenting with skincare and makeup to invest time in myself! Music is also a huge part of my life; I love R&B and rap artists like SZA, Summer Walker, Drake, and Future, and I always have a playlist for every mood to keep me going throughout the day. Feel free to reach out if you want to talk about getting involved on campus, balancing academics and extracurriculars, or even to nerd out about anything. Welcome to Temple - I can’t wait to meet everyone!
