Hi everyone! My name is Tara Kehair (she/her), and I’m from Piscataway, NJ. I’m a Neuroscience major pursuing the Honors Interdisciplinary Social Justice minor and I am on the pre-med track. I absolutely love both the academic and social life here at Temple! I’m currently the Vice President of the Red Cross Club and serve as the DEI Chair for Phi Delta Epsilon, Temple’s pre-medical fraternity. I’m also actively involved in Temple HOSA and volunteer at the Cherry Pantry. In addition, I work in Temple’s Neural Engineering Lab, where I analyze EEG data to assist in the development of machine learning tools for seizure detection. Recently, I had the opportunity to study abroad at Temple Rome, which has fueled my love for exploring new cultures and cuisines. In my free time, I enjoy thrifting, hiking, going to concerts, and swimming. Some fun facts about me are that I’ve competed in a few triathlons and have swam with sharks! I’m so excited to meet everyone, please feel free to reach out.
