TSG shapes Temple’s student affairs, creating a platform for students to ignite change at the university on relevant issues. If you’re interested in becoming a student leader, TSG actively recruits, regardless of experience level.

If you're good with technology, you may be able to use that skill to help people in your community. The Temple University Prosthetics and Orthotics Club, or TemPO for short, allows students from any major to create devices ranging from prosthetic legs for dogs to adaptive toy parts for children with disabilities using 3D printing. You can even join the team with no engineering experience whatsoever.

Did you know that Temple was ranked the second most fashionable campus in the country by beauty and wellness website StyleSeat? Temple’s Fashion and Business Club (F&B) is the perfect way for students with a passion for style to launch careers in fashion. F&B connects students with the Philadelphia fashion industry by hosting guest speakers, sourcing student-written blog content, networking events and so much more.

Put your comedy skills to the test! Temple Smash invites students to produce, write, direct, edit and perform in their very own sketch comedy production using Klein College and the School of Theater, Film and Media Arts’ resources. If you love to get your hands dirty, the Temple Community Garden (TCG) is the ideal place to pick up a shovel and learn more about urban agriculture. Whether you have a green thumb already or just want to learn more about sustainable gardening, TCG is the perfect place to start playing in the dirt. Plus, you’ll yield some of the freshest produce you can get.

Ready to jump-start an independent project? Wandering Studios is a student-run film organization that works to help members bring their film projects to life throughout the semester. All majors and skill levels interested in creating short films are invited to join the process in everything from pre- to post-production. Do you bleed cherry and white? Do you make it a point to sing our fight song the loudest? Do you start every chant, at every game? Then you’ll feel right at home with the Cherry Crusade, a group of die-hard student fans who are guaranteed to get the party started. If you love live sports and cheering on the Owls, the Cherry Crusade is a great way to make friends and support the teams we love.

Calling all MCs, rappers, poets and lovers of the spoken word. Make your voice heard by joining Babel, Temple’s long-standing poetry collective. With Babel, you can expect workshops, competitive poetry slams, open mics and at least two shows per semester. If you love poetry, performing and speaking your truth, Babel could be for you!

Set, serve and spike
Get active with the Temple Outdoor Volleyball Club! Whether you want to try playing beach volleyball, develop your skills or just play this great game with some new friends, this club accepts players at all levels. You don’t even need to have any experience! Come learn how to play, get moving and play on a team with your fellow Owls.
