If you were admitted for fall 2020, here are your next steps. Please be aware if you were offered admission to Temple, you will receive your letter of acceptance through TUportal. We do not mail letters.

1. Choose Temple!

To reserve your place in the fall 2020 entering class, you must submit a nonrefundable enrollment deposit of $200. If you would like to request a room in University Housing, combine both deposits and submit one payment of $450 (see below for housing information). We encourage you to make your deposit by May 1, or within two weeks if you were admitted after April 15. Housing selection is first come, first served. On-campus housing is guaranteed if you submit your deposit by May 1.

To pay your deposit, use TUpay for online credit card or bank debit transactions by logging on to TUportal and reviewing information provided under the "Welcome" tab.

2.  Join TUportal.

If you haven't already, register on TUportal. You should have received an email invitation on how to join or you can read these instructions. You will need to join TUportal in order to pay your tuition and housing deposits and register for orientation.

3. Register for a special event just for admitted students.

As an admitted student, you and your family are invited to attend Experience Temple Day at Main campus or Admitted Student Reception at the Ambler campus. To register to these events, log in to your TUportal account.

4. Get your financial aid in order.

If you are a U.S. citizen, submit your FAFSA application by the March 1 deadline. Visit Student Financial Services for more information.

5. Request a room in University Housing.

If you would like a room in University Housing, you must first submit the $200 tuition deposit, as well as the $250 housing deposit. You can select your housing and meal plan in the MyHousing section of your TUportal. Please note, housing selection begins in April each year for new students. 6. Attend summer Orientation and register for classes.

Your New Student Orientation is designed to assist in your transition and get your college career off to a great start! New Student Orientation sessions are offered throughout the summer, giving you plenty of time to plan your summer. Parent and Family Orientation sessions happen concurrently with New Student Orientation sessions. Information regarding orientation will be sent to your Temple email account from the Office of Orientation, New Students and Family Programs once your deposits have been paid.
