We are excited to welcome you to Philadelphia to enjoy our city’s history, entertainment and all Temple has to offer. Guests will visit our schools and colleges to learn more about our programs and opportunities. Our event will culminate with a luncheon where you can learn more about our application process and ask any questions you may have.

Tentative Agenda

4:00 p.m.: Check in at the hotel and join us for a welcome reception. More details will be available soon.

7:00 p.m.: Our official program will kick off with dinner in Philadelphia and a chance to meet some of our Admissions colleagues. Details will be available soon.

8 a.m.: Depart hotel for campus

8:45 a.m.–12 p.m.: Academic sessions with College of Liberal Arts, College of Science and Technology, School of Engineering, Tyler School of Art and Architecture, and School of Theater, Film and Media Arts

12 p.m.: Lunch

2:00 - 4:15 p.m.: Academic sessions with Fox School of Business and College of Education and Human Development

4:15 p.m.: Depart campus for hotel

5:45 p.m.: Depart hotel for Phillies game

6:15 p.m. Arrive at Citizens Bank Park for Phillies vs. Diamondbacks

8:45 a.m.: Depart hotel for campus

9 a.m.–1:30 p.m.: Academic sessions with Klein College of Media and Communication, Boyer College of Music and Dance, University Studies, College of Public Health, and School of Sport, Tourism, and Hospitality Management

1:30 p.m.: Departures and farewells

We will be covering the cost of your lodging and travel to and from Philadelphia. We only ask that you cover your local travel expenses to and from wherever you arrive in Philadelphia (e.g., the airport, 30th Street Station, etc.). To make your way to the hotel or back home, here are some transportation options.

Amtrak 30th Street Station

2955 Market St., Philadelphia, PA 19104

This is the main train station in Philadelphia. If you are coming into Philadelphia, you will arrive here. All regional rail lines can take you to the Amtrak 30th Street Station.

Philadelphia International Airport

8000 Essington Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19153

SEPTA Regional Rail Temple University Station & Cecil B. Moore Subway Station

This is Temple University’s SEPTA station that can take you to the airport. It is located at 927 W. Berks St. View a full list of schedule departure and arrival times. Tickets can be purchased from the teller at the station. Additionally, there is a SEPTA subway station at Cecil B. Moore Avenue and Broad Street (just above Temple’s Morgan Hall). You can take this subway to Amtrak 30th Street Station (switching lines at City Hall).

Lyft/Uber

Following the program, the best recommendation would be to depart from Morgan Hall located at 1601 N. Broad St., Philadelphia, PA 19122.
