Laryssa recruits first-year students and reviews first-year applications for admission.
As a Temple grad, Laryssa’s favorite place on campus is Beury Beach because you really get a feel for the campus culture, especially when the weather is nice. Plus, it is the center for many on-campus events. She also loves that Philadelphia has something for everyone. Between history, culture, and food, the limits are endless when it comes to exploring the city.
If asked what advice she would give future students, Laryssa says that if you are unsure of where to start or what to do, visit the campus! Being on a college campus gives you a feel of the culture and allows for you to visualize yourself there for the next four years. Laryssa’s favorite place to get lunch on campus is the Mexican Grill Stand, across the street from the student center.
