Hello! My name is Abby and I am a Philadelphia local. I am a Senior majoring in Neuroscience in the College of Liberal Arts. I am one of five siblings, so Temple allows me to experience college life and travel home to decompress. At Temple, I live in an off-campus apartment with 3 other Honors students. We are big into group study sessions and finding small cafes in Center City. I love to read and have a goal this year to read 30 books, which I think is pretty reasonable with being a full-time college student. I just finished the ACOTAR series by Sarah J. Maas and have moved on to the Red Rising series by Pierce Brown. I am on the second installment of that series and am enjoying it so far. Next, I plan to read the rest of Sarah J. Maas's works, specifically her Throne of Glass series. I now consider myself a big foodie and love to try new restaurants around Philly. I have an ongoing list of the best places to get specific cravings like pizza, wings, pasta, and more. In addition, I love to utilize Temple’s gyms and have recently got into running. When I'm not hanging out with my friends, I participate in several activities at Temple. I am the STARS Coordinator and Communications Chair of the Association of Interdisciplinary Sciences, which allows students to further explore the humanities and sciences. I am also an Honors Peer Mentor here at Temple, which is similar to Honors Ambassadors, but we help transition incoming students during the summer. I also participate in research on campus as well. Please reach out if you want to know more about Temple life or make a new friend!
