My name is Jules and I'm a Junior Sociology major and Gender, Sexuality, and Women's Studies minor. I am from the suburbs of Baltimore, Maryland (about 2 hours from campus) and I was very drawn to Temple for its urban campus, diversity, and Honors Program opportunities. This is my third year as a HATT, and I lived in the Honors LLC in 1300 my first year (though now I live off campus). In spring of 2023, I participated in a Liberal Arts Undergraduate Research Award (LAURA) with my sociology professor researching whiteness and eugenics in American history and literature from 1880-1960. In the fall, I was a Diamond Peer Teacher for an upper-level sociology elective course. I love Temple and I love Philly - I feel very lucky to live here. Ask me about: being Jewish on campus, being queer on campus, social justice, undergraduate research, or crafts.
