Kacey works closely with our Dual Admissions community college partner institutions, reviews transfer student applications and completes credit evaluations.
Kacey's favorite spot on campus is the new green space on the corner of Broad & Norris where Peabody Hall, her first-year residence hall, used to stand. Not only is it sentimental to her, but it is a nice place to relax and it's close to some of the best food trucks! Kacey's advice to students would be, during the transfer process, don't be afraid to reach out to faculty or current students within your intended major to get a feel for the program and the types of people you'll be learning from and learning with! Remember that college is a match to be made between you and the school that is the best academic, financial, and social fit for you. When asked what her favorite thing about Philadelphia is, Kacey said, the people! Philadelphians are authentic, passionate, and have a lot of pride in this city. Temple faculty and alumni do a great job of facilitating connections between current students and their extensive networks throughout the city, which often leads to valuable professional development opportunities.
