Hey everyone! I'm Kiara (she/her) and I am a Sophomore Criminal Justice major with a minor Cognitive Neuroscience. Pursuing the pre-law track as I am extremely passionate about law, human rights and the science behind it all. I am from a small town in North New Jersey, which is almost 3 hours away from campus. I decided to come to Temple University for a multitude of reasons but what really stuck out to me is being able to learn and build my career in such a diverse advancing city. Going further into my second year as an Owl, Temple has truly become a second home to me, especially the close-knit Honors Program. Currently I am involved in the Black Law Student Association and the Temple University Pre-Law Society. Proudly able to say I am now a part of the Delta Phi Epsilon sorority and their Special Activities Coordinator! Starting this spring semester I am joining the Forensic Psychology club, Honorables of Color and plan on interning this summer back in New Jersey with Morristown Law Enforcement. Outside of class, you can likely find me on CLA's beautiful rooftop, eating with friends at the SAC, making my way to center city to explore and create memories, doing a wide range of activities with the Adventure Bound club and studying in the Honors lounge. I am always free to discuss any and all questions you have about Temple and your future as a potential Owl. So excited to help other perspective students make their decisions and represent my school in the future!!!
