Hi, I’m Madeline! I am a Junior Biology Major from Lancaster, PA. I love the small-town feel of my hometown, but I was drawn to Temple’s city community, constant energy, and expansive opportunities. The Honors Program is what helped me make Temple home, providing me with a close-knit community of support in a brand new environment. At Temple, I focus on biomedical research, with a minor in Global Studies. I am a member of the Science Scholars Program for Honors students in scientific research, and I am currently doing research in a Medical Genetics and Molecular Biochemistry lab at Temple’s Lewis Katz School of Medicine. I am also involved on campus with the Temple Biology Society. In my free time, I can often be found watching hockey (Go Flyers!), at new restaurants in the city, or at one of the Main Campus Program Board’s Bingo nights! If you have any questions about science opportunities (particularly research), the Honors community, or Philly life, I’d love to chat!
