Biography
Mario recruits first-year students in the state of Texas and reviews first-year applications for admission. Being based in Texas, Mario meets with students, parents and counselors throughout the state to share information about Temple. Mario’s favorite spot on campus is Liacouras Walk because the student traffic and new Charles Library really capture the true vibe of the community at Temple. Mario's son is also a recent graduate of Temple and he fondly remembers pulling up to his first-year residence hall and helping him move in and the excitement they had for him to start this new journey. He encourages all prospective students to get out of their comfort zones and try new things and look into programs or campuses that they never would have before.
