Hi! My name is Samrin, and I'm a sophomore Neuroscience major on the pre-med track. I'm also pursuing a minor in Criminal Justice. I'm from Hatfield, PA, which is about 45 minutes outside of Temple. I love Temple because of its urban environment, diverse opportunities, and, of course, the Honors program! At Temple, in addition to being a HATT, I’m involved with the Grey Matters Neuroscience publication as an author and editor, and I’m the Recruitment and Collaboration Coordinator for Amnesty International. I’m also a member of some of Temple’s many student organizations, such as the Asian Pacific American Medical Student Association (APAMSA), and a few culture clubs! Additionally, I do research under Temple’s Infant and Child Lab in the Research in Spatial Cognition department, and I volunteer at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. I love to spend my free time hanging out at Richie’s Cafe, and doing night time yoga at IBC. I also love exploring Philly, from University City to Chinatown, and I’m always trying new food places in the city. If you have any questions about Temple, anything I’m involved in, or just to chat, feel free to reach out by email! I look forward to meeting all of you future Owls!
