Hi friends! My name is Taylor (she/her), and I am a senior Cellular and Molecular Neuroscience major on the pre-med track with a minor in Psychology and a certificate in American Sign Language. Coming from the small, rural town of Dover, Pennsylvania, I was looking to attend college in a large city, filled to the brim with diversity and opportunity. Temple University offered just this: a university in an urban setting with a huge student population stemming from all over the globe. Currently, I am an undergraduate research assistant in Dr. Sara Jane Ward’s lab at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine. I am also involved in the OWLchestra (I have the pleasure of being concertmaster), and you can always find me city-exploring or making music here on campus. I am a proud Peer Fellow for the College of Science and Technology’s advising office and a Peer Leader Captain for CST’s first-year seminar and peer leader development courses. Temple University has provided the perfect environment for me to meet all of my pre-med goals, and I have recently been accepted into medical school! I am beyond thrilled to have the opportunity to provide prospective students with a look into the incredible community that is Temple Honors. Do not be afraid to introduce yourself, and please reach out with any questions! GO OWLS!
