Hi! My name is Anouska Jha (they/she) and I am majoring in Neuroscience on the pre-med track. I am currently considering minoring in Chemistry and getting a certificate in Spanish. I'm from suburban central Jersey (yes, it's real!), and one of the reasons I wanted to come to Temple was to experience being closer to the city! Some of the other reasons I wanted to come here are the amazing opportunities available to get involved with academic circles and local communities. Right now, I am a research assistant at Weiss in the Adaptive Memory Lab and also volunteer at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. I am also involved with clubs through being the Chair of Human Medicine and Volunteering for One Health Club. Outside of school and extracurriculars, I love spending my time over at South Street thrifting at the Philly Aids Thrift or getting a doughnut at the Federal Donuts!! Exploring new restaurants and places with my friends is something I love to take advantage of being in this city and I love every part of it. Once a week you can probably find me and my roommates on the edge of our seats for the Eagles game that's on. If you'd like to know more or have any questions, feel free to reach out!!
