Hi! My name is Hema and I’m a first-year Architecture student and I’m minoring in Classical Languages and Literature. I’m from Aldie, Virginia in Loudoun County, and despite it being quite far, I’m glad I made the decision to come out-of-state for college. While it is my first time living in the city, I quickly came to love the fast-paced environment especially as I made new friends along the way. Along with being an Honors Ambassador, I am currently involved in Temple’s chapter of the American Institute of Architecture Students as well as the K-pop club and I plan on joining more clubs and organizations in the future! Being a part of Temple Honors and living in the Honors LLC has also provided me with great experiences to begin my college life as I’ve made great friends I often spend my weekends exploring the city with. I truly feel that I’ve been able to express and explore my interests, as well as discover new ones, with the very welcoming Temple Honors community. I love trying out new places to eat and finding new spots to study or hang out around campus, and right now the Honors Lounge and the fourth floor of the Charles Library are my current favorites. Outside of class you can usually find me catching up on K-dramas and anime, or finding new songs to add to my never-ending playlists (my largest playlist currently has over 1000 songs :D). If you have any questions about architecture, college life, or anything else I mentioned, please don’t hesitate to reach out!
